Bluesky Chatterboxes running in a web browser. It displays a color-coded table of accounts sorted by total posts.

A tool to see which Bluesky accounts you follow post the most

At some point, as Bluesky has grown in popularity, I realized I was following too many accounts. I like to keep my social media follows fairly lean, with a high signal-to-noise ratio. I like to prune those follows periodically, but when I went looking for a tool that would show me how frequently the accounts I follow post, I couldn't find one. So I made one.

It tallies all the posts that the accounts you follow have made in the last 90 days and breaks them down across original posts and reposts. It includes color coding to let you easily visualize post activity, and sparklines to help you understand posting habits. It's free, uses the public Bluesky API, and doesn't store any personal information.

I would not have made this project were it not for the wonderful Indigo, a combination Bluesky/Mastodon client that works the way I think text-based social media should work. If you like this tool, definitely check out Indigo!
