Basic Interaction Design: Personalized Web Service
Field & Fork is a personalized web service that bridges the gap between restaurants and local farms. Field & Fork makes it easy for restaurant owners to buy produce from local farmers directly, providing restaurants with fresher food, helping farms establish local business connections, and lowering everyone’s carbon footprint. My group derived the concept for Field & Fork through directed storytelling user research with local farmers and restaurant owners. After finalizing our design, we built a web prototype in XHTML and CSS that demonstrated one example usage scenario.
